Take part in entertaining and educational activities designed especially for youth groups. Over 315,000 participants in the last five years. Animated activities and unusual sites letting young people be where the action is.

 

AGE 5 TO 9

 

THE SOLDIER'S DISAPPEARANCE

A terrible thing has happened in the Martello Tower. A soldier is missing. Whether it is an abduction or an escape, the mystery is total. Come and discover the truth in the enchanting setting of the Martello Tower and take part in the various tests of hide-and-seek, treasure hunt and other thrilling military riddles.

 


 

THE SPELLCASTER

Take out your amulets and rabbit’s foot, the spellcaster is about to cast a spell on you at the Discovery Pavilion of the Plains of Abraham. Will you be able to elude the curses and evil riddles? Decipher La Corriveau’s dialect, cast out the spells and exorcize the bewitchment of diabolical objects. This is the develish menu of an activity both surprising and mysterious.

 



AGE 10 TO 13

 

ARMY MANOEUVRES

Come and face the challenge of army manoeuvers at the Martello Tower. Military training, legend, authentic military activities of the period. Refinement, shrewdness, courage, fear and emotions aplenty.

 



LA CORRIVEAU

Learn the true story of La Corriveau. Discover the mysterious legends of the Plains of Abraham. Go back in time, play unusual games and bring all your senses into play for this surreal adventure at the Discovery Pavilion of the Plains of Abraham.

 


 

PER ACTIVITY (except for Pirates, privateers and freebooters):

Period: from July 8 to August 20.
Maximum capacity: 60 children (up to 2 activities at the same time).
Presentation (costumed character): 1 guide / 30 children.
Duration: 2 hours.
Language: French only.
Meeting place: Martello Tower 2 or Discovery Pavilion of the Plains of Abraham.
Cost: $4.75 / child. A minimum fee wil apply.
Package (2 activities): $8.50 / child. A minimum fee wil apply.

 



FOR ALL AGES

 

NEW
PIRATES, PRIVATEERS AND FREEBOOTERS

Anchors away with a famous pirate. Put your senses to the test and cast off for this fascinating interactive exhibition. Up lads and at’em!

Also (included in the visit):
Student Masterworks, a hundred or so replicas of New France historical objects created by secondary school students.

Period: from June 24 to October 11.
Maximum capacity: 50 children.
Activity: self-guided tour.
Duration: from 30 to 60 minutes.
Language: English or French.
Meeting place: Brown Basin.
Cost: details during reservation.

A reservation is mandatory for every activity. Sportswear adapted to the weather occurring during the visit is required. The activities take place in all weathers unless otherwise informed by the National Battlefields Commission. A dining-room can be available on request. All costs include taxes and are payable to the Receiver General of Canada. Prices and details are subject to change.
