The park's welcoming and information centre:

The Discovery Pavilion of the Plains of Abraham is the gateway to the Plains, but most of all it is an invitation to discover the treasures of one of the most prestigious city parks in the world.

In addition to the Odyssey multimedia exhibition, this building offers various services: reception, information, scale model of the park, starting-off point for tours, gift shop, Internet station, washroom, the tourist information bureau of the Quebec City Tourism, as well as a money exchange office.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mr. Jean Marie Dagenais (photo) on August 3, 2009, in Québec City. Everyone who came into contact with him during his 11 years of service with the National Battlefields Commission, as information clerk, guide driver of Abraham’s Bus or person in charge of the Brown Basin information clerks will fondly remember his sense of humour, riddles and noise impressions. His sudden, unexpected parting will leave a great void.
